This isn’t a full vehicle history or physical inspection. The free check doesn’t confirm outstanding finance, stolen or insurance write-off status, tax, ULEZ compliance or modifications.

What is included in the free car check?
Available MOT test history, pass and fail results, advisories and recorded mileage, with help understanding the records and deciding what to ask next. The amount of history depends on what is available for the vehicle.
Does a passed MOT mean the car is safe to buy?
A passed MOT records the outcome of a test on a particular date. It does not confirm the car’s condition today or tell you everything about its history. Check the documents, ask the seller questions and consider an independent inspection.
Can I use the website instead of WhatsApp?
Yes. Start with a registration on the website, or ask by message on WhatsApp. Both routes are designed to help you understand the available records in plain English.
Will this check tell me if the car is modified?
MOT records do not provide a complete modifications check. The separate Modification Checker looks for possible changes in available historic adverts and vehicle records. Any findings still need confirming against the car.
